Alex “FortyWest” Gibbs is a versatile Sinfonian and multi-talented artist from Memphis, Tennessee. Over the past decade, he has built an extraordinary career as an actor, vocalist, songwriter, and visual artist, captivating audiences across television, film, theater, and live music.

His television credits include 106 & Park, Apollo Live, The Kennedy Center Honors, and The Justin Bieber Roast, while on the big screen, he appeared in Marcus – When It Comes Around and The Making of The Temptations.

As a live music artist, FortyWest has shared the stage with New Edition, Lenny Williams, and Yo Gotti, bringing electrifying performances to each event. His career also includes collaborations where he shared the stage with industry legends like Debbie Allen, Adam Pascal, Tichina Arnold, Raven-Symoné, and Clint Darricks and Kevin Hart.

In 2024, Alex created two AI-immersive concert series: The Rock 'n' Soul Hall of Fame, a tribute to rock and soul legends, and Broadway and Beyond, which blends musical theater and pop hits with cinematic storytelling.
