In demand performer and singer Anna Langford is a graduate from the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London where she studied musical theatre.
She has performed nationally and internationally in a career spanning 20 years, most recently she has returned to New Zealand after a year away performing in Mamma Mia! for Royal Caribbean, during this time she joined a very short list of women worldwide who have played all three Dynamos professionally.
Anna has starred in numerous musicals and plays in London and NZ throughout her career. Highlights include playing Elphaba in Wicked, Kate Sheppard in That Bloody Woman (OSTA winner for Best Leading Female in a Musical), Diva in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Eponine in Les Miserables, Brenda in Blood Brothers, The Highlights Concert, Rock to Motown, Mona in Chicago, Martha in The Secret Garden, Claudia in Angels, Punks and Raging Queens, Young Sally in Follies, Grateful in Concert and cabaret shows This Has Nothing to Do With…Love and Revive Me.
As a guest entertainer Anna presents two shows, the first an ode to her first true love of musical theatre - “Unlimited” in which she presents a collection of broadway songs from roles she has played and songs from her favourite divas.
Her second show “Heartbreaker” is a journey into the heart of 70s/80s rock - highlighting some of the best rock artists of all time including Pat Benatar, Heart, Joan Jett, Queen, Journey and Janis Joplin.
