Sydney born Catherine Alcorn is a multi award-winning artist, presenter, producer, Artistic Director and one of Australia's most in-demand entertainers, renowned for her powerhouse vocals and razor sharp wit. 

Hailed as ‘a must see!’ (L.A. Times), ‘absolutely hilarious’ (Time Out) with 'a voice to die for' (STAGE NOISE) Catherine combines her wickedly inviting sense of humour and dynamic voice, exhilarating audiences wherever she goes. 

As an artist, Catherine has produced and performed in national and international tours of her own stage shows The Divine Miss Bette, Go Your Own Way: The Story of Christine McVie, Cathartic and 30 Something and is a regular fixture in Festival programs including Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Sydney Festival, Sydney Mardi Gras and as Ambassador for Noosa Long Weekend and Ballarat Cabaret Festival in 2014/15. During her appointment as Ambassador, both festivals broke attendance and box office records.

MIDLER & ME is a love letter to the films, the music and the larger-than-life magic of Bette Midler told with heart, humour and a wicked twinkle in the eye.
Featuring iconic songs from her most beloved movies — Beaches, Big Business  and The Rose the show weaves powerhouse vocals with personal storytelling, backstage anecdotes and laugh-out-loud confessions. From soaring ballads that crack your heart wide open to brassy, bawdy showstoppers that bring the house down, MIDLER & ME celebrates the Divine Miss M in all her messy, magnificent glory.
Alongside the songs, Catherine shares how she became Bette and how a deep love of this iconic performer grew into a career spanning 15 years, touring internationally with her acclaimed tribute The Divine Miss Bette. It’s the story behind the wig, the heels and the punchlines…and what it means to step into the shoes of a legend night after night.
