A regular at the world’s top comedy festivals  including Just For Laughs (Montreal), Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Perth Fringe, Hong Kong Fringe, Liverpool Comedy Festival, and Mumbai’s Weirdass Pajama Festival, Hung has earned a reputation as a global comedy force.

He has appeared on countless television programs both in Australia and internationally, including ABC, SBS, CNN, MTV, The Muppet Show, Discovery Channel, London Weekend Television, and Japan’s Wow Wow. His documentaries include Mist of the Perfume River and Atlas Australia with Russell Crowe. Hung also has two gold medal-winning TV commercials to his name.

As an actor, Hung has featured in iconic Australian films including The Wogboy, Fat Pizza, True Love and Chaos, Broken Hill, and Sensitive New Age Killer. He has supported music legends such as Engelbert Humperdinck, Leo Sayer, José Feliciano, Weird Al Yankovic and even Frank Sinatra.

His first book, The Yellow Peril From Sin City, was released through Penguin. His second, a children’s book titled BarryNoodles & DaKillerBs, is with Random House. His third, The Crappiest Refugee, was published by Affirm Press.

Hung’s story is one of resilience, transformation, and defying expectations — and he brings all of it to the stage every time.
