Auckland, New Zealand

MATERIAL

3 x 45 mins (Family Friendly)

Nick Rado is New Zealand’s premier clean stand-up comedian, with three hours of sharp, family-friendly material developed over a 20-year international career. He’s a six-time winner of Best Comedy MC and Best Male Comedian at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards, and has opened for some of the biggest names in comedy, including Nate Bargatze, Chelsea Handler, Rob Brydon, Aziz Ansari, Russell Howard, and Danny Bhoy. Nick was the first comedian from the Southern Hemisphere to be invited to film a special for Dry Bar Comedy, the world’s largest platform for clean stand-up, where one of his clips has already racked up over 1.4 million views.

His debut album, On-Trend, reached #4 on the iTunes all-albums chart (not just comedy) and now plays on SiriusXM’s Laugh USA and the UK’s leading comedy streaming service, NextUp. His third album is currently being recorded with Git ‘R Done Records, the label founded by Larry the Cable Guy, and will premiere on SiriusXM’s Comedy Roundup. Recently, Nick was flown to Nashville to perform in Nateland Live, a live taping for Nate Bargatze’s production company. He’s also appeared at the Just for Laughs Sydney Showcase at the Sydney Opera House, on Russell Howard’s World Tour, Netflix’s Short Poppies, The Comedy Channel Australia, and numerous comedy galas on TV3 and TVNZ. Outside of stand-up, Nick is an award-winning broadcaster and podcaster.

He’s picked up multiple Sony Radio Awards, served as Executive Producer of Heart FM’s Breakfast Show with Emma Bunton and Jamie Theakston in London, and co-hosts two award-winning podcasts — Socrates Walks Into a Bar (Best Comedy) and The Sporting Rumble (Best Sports) — at the NZ Podcast Awards. He also spent seven years as Head Writer on New Zealand’s hit panel show 7 Days, writing over 300 episodes.
