Tarun Mohanbhai is a world-class comedian, writer, voice-over artist, MC, and actor.
He has entertained audiences across the globe, with performances in Australia, the UK, Canada, the USA, South Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.
His corporate clients include Samsung, Microsoft, McDonald’s, Panasonic, and the New Zealand High Commission in Malaysia, and he has also performed for two former Prime Ministers.
Tarun is the winner of Raw Comedy Quest and Best Show (now known as the Fred Award) at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival.


He has appeared on the Comedy Channel in Australia as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, featured in multiple series of Pulp Comedy in New Zealand, and starred in Chopper’s Republic of Anzakistan which screened in both New Zealand and Australia. His film credits include Guns Akimbo, alongside Daniel Radcliffe.
As a theatre creator, Tarun has written and performed several successful productions, including D’Arranged Marriage, From India with Love, and Cornershop Confessions. All three toured extensively throughout New Zealand, with From India with Love also touring Asia and South Africa, and D’Arranged Marriage touring Singapore, Malaysia, the USA, Canada, and the UK—culminating in a 14-night sold-out run at the Sydney Opera House.
