Trevor Jones is one of Australia’s leading piano bar entertainers and cabaret performers. He is a regular headline performer on a range of cruise ships and in piano bars around Australia playing everything from standards and showtunes, classic Bllly Joel and Elton John songs, right through to modern hits. He currently performs regularly at Piano Bar Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong, Piano on Chapel, Jukes at Crown and The Butterfly Club. Trevor has performed to great acclaim in cabaret venues around Australia including Downstairs at the Maj (Perth), Chapel off Chapel (Melbourne), The Butterfly Club (Melbourne), La Boheme (Adelaide) and Slide (Sydney) with his shows By Chance, Move On, Trevor Jones in Sticky Situations, Kollision and more recently sold out seasons of Still Standing – A Tribute To The Great Piano Men and Under The Milky Way – Trevor Jones sings the Great Australian Songbook. Trevor’s performances bring a unique blend of humour, story-telling and song.
Trevor has hosted the Piano Bar for Adelaide Cabaret Festival since 2015, as well as Best of the Fest and Cabaretoke for the Melbourne Cabaret Festival and the Key Change Piano Bar for Ballarat Cabaret Festival. He was the weekly host of Trevor’s Fab Fridays at the Butterfly Club until the end of 2016 and several regular nights at Doo-Bop Jazz Bar, Brisbane including the monthly Showtune Tuesday. Trevor performed as a part of the inaugural Melbourne Cabaret Festival and was the host of Midsumma Best of the Fest from 2009 - 2011. He has also performed at Perth Fringeworld, the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Sydney Mardi Gras Festival. During 2020 and 2021, Trevor performed a popular nightly Facebook live piano bar to provide entertainment during the restrictions due to CoVid19.
Trevor has traveled internationally as a piano bar entertainer, singing and playing in all styles, often by request and was employed in this capacity by Carnival Cruise Lines as well as 5 Star Hotels in Germany, Austria, Italy and The Netherlands.
Trevor is also an award-winning conductor, accompanist and musical director that has worked extensively in cabaret, opera and musical theatre in Australia and internationally.
