Vov Dylan is a highly skilled violinist who combines classical, Jazz, Rock and Pop music with a broad, modern appeal. His musical talent was recognised early, with a newspaper article written about him at just 21 months old, followed by his TV debut on ABC at age 11.
Vov has been a familiar face in Australian media, appearing on Macquarie Network radio stations and Channel 10's The Morning Show. Described as a “Superstar Violinist” by The AU Arts Review, he has released multiple albums that have reached the top of the ARIA Classical and Crossover charts, as well as achieving No. 1 on the Independent charts. His 2022 album, Kismet: Vignettes for Violin and Piano, became the highest-selling Australian classical album of the year.
Vov's reach extends internationally. Recently, he collaborated with Mary-Jess, the winner of X Factor China and the voice of Downton Abbey, performing to 15,000 people at the opening of a major venue in Tainan City, Taiwan, alongside his orchestra and Pianist Glenn Amer. He has toured to many sold-out theatres both internationally and in Australia, including iconic venues such as the Sydney Opera House.
His achievements have earned him widespread recognition, including being nominated for Australian Instrumental Entertainer of the Year for five years in a row.
Vov's projects also reflect his charitable spirit. His album World Lullabies was released in support of the Starlight Foundation, and his work with Keys of Change brings music education to underserved communities around the world.
Critics have praised Vov for his engaging performances, with Fine Music FM describing him as “mischievous, charismatic, bubbling with energy…constantly surprising.” Another review called one of his concerts “The Most Sensational Evening of The Year!” Others have compared his stage presence to Andre Rieu, saying, "Vov Dylan turned out to be a young, talented violinist whose ability, personality, and stage presence match Andre Rieu (and he’s prettier too!)."
Vov Dylan continues to inspire audiences with his performances, recordings, and outreach work. As one reviewer noted, “Vov Dylan was born to be a Violinist. His very soul yearns for the feel of the bow in hand, delicately crafting the friction of strings into a melodic masterpiece.”
